1. Online privacy statement

1.1 Horizon Nuclear Power is working with Dialogue by Design, an independent consultation company, to conduct this consultation. Any personal information you provide will be processed by Horizon Nuclear Power and Dialogue by Design, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, to assist in the work related to the subject of this consultation.

1.2 The information you provide will be held and transferred securely. The information will be passed on to Horizon Nuclear Power and its subsidiaries; it will be used for engagement related to the subject matter of this consultation, subsequent planning applications and to keep you updated on the nuclear new build development at Wylfa. The information may also be passed on to the Infrastructure Planning Commission (IPC), its successor organisation and/or local authorities on their request.

1.3 If you are concerned about providing your personal information online please contact us on 020 7042 8000 and we will arrange alternative means for you to provide this information.

1.4 We collect IP addresses for the purposes of system administration and to audit the use of our site. We do not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable, which means that while your user session will be logged, you will remain anonymous to us. As a necessary part of our website function we need to use cookies, these cookies are not malicious. If you reject our cookies it will not be possible to take part in any of our web-based processes. This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control.

2. Ground rules for participating

2.1 Use of the information provided for reporting purposes. A summary report of this consultation will be made available. Responses to this consultation may be displayed on a public website and may be included in published reports. A list of participants who have registered and a list of participants who have responded to the consultation may be displayed on a public website and may be included in published reports.

2.2 Attribution of consultation responses in published documents and on this website. For responses made by individuals the response will be displayed but the respondent’s name will not. For responses made on behalf of an organisation, the organisation name will be displayed together with the response, but not the name of the individual who made the response.

2.3 Inclusion of personal information in the body of consultation responses. If a consultation response contains a reference to the participant’s details we will assume that the participant is happy for the response to be displayed on this website including any such details and that they take full responsibility for such disclosure. If a consultation response contains a reference or details of other individuals or organisations, we may remove such references unless we have been provided with evidence that the individuals or organisations referred to have given their consent for these references.

2.4 Users are prohibited from impersonating another person and from posting material that is obscene, defamatory, threatening, harassing, abusive, hateful, or embarrassing to any person or entity, or any sexually explicit image, any advertisement or solicitation of business, chain letters or pyramid schemes. We will remove any such material at our discretion.

2.5 You may only register once for this consultation; during the consultation period, you can update and amend your comments at any time by logging onto the website.
